The name Blaise is a gift from her mother. She was born on the feast of St Blaise (a Catholic version of Imbolic), which is a ceremony of healing by blessing of the throat chakra. Blaise has always considered herself a healer. This is manifested through her work organizing and creating intentional community, as well as working with children and adults with various differing abilities.
Blaise makes time for herself to cultivate love and healing through art, giving herself as a mirror to our beautiful and chaotic world.

Myofascial Release is a very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
-
Cupping uses special cups on the skin to create suction that increases blood flow to affected area. Enhanced blood flow under the cups draws impurities and toxins away from the nearby tissues and organs.
-
Gua Sha is an ancient technique used to relieve acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain, improve circulation, and reduce inflammation. Gua Sha involves repeated pressed strokes over lubricated skin with a smooth-edged, blunt instrument.
